Privacy Policy
Clipper Jones is a single-operator tool. It has no public user accounts and collects no personal data from the public.
Data the Service stores
- Authentication tokens for the operator's own YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts, used only to publish content and
read performance statistics of that content. Tokens are stored on the operator's server and never shared.
- Public chat messages from live streams, processed transiently to detect highlight moments; chat usernames are kept
only as part of aggregate statistics and short samples attached to a clip for editorial review.
- Video recordings of live streams that the operator has permission to clip, kept for a rolling window of minutes and
deleted automatically.
- Performance metrics (views, likes, retention) of the operator's own published videos, obtained from the platforms'
APIs, including Google's YouTube API Services. Google's privacy policy applies to data obtained from Google:
policies.google.com/privacy.
Sharing
No data is sold or shared with third parties. Data is sent to AI providers (Anthropic, Groq) only to transcribe audio
and analyse clip candidates, under those providers' API terms.
Revoking access
The operator can revoke the Service's access at any time from the security settings of the connected accounts
(for Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions).
Retention and deletion
Stream recordings are deleted within minutes; clip media is deleted on a rolling schedule; tokens are deleted when access
is revoked. Contact the operator through the Clipper Jones channel pages for any request.
